Everyday blue jeans with a worn effect. Good dependable wheelchair jeans with extra detailing that you expect with all the big name branded jeans, AND at a great price AND with all the wheelchair features you can expect from Rollitex. Orange and white stitching give clean & modern finish. Also available in Dark Blue.
We're excited to introduce this range of trousers to the UK - finally, mainstream looks for wheelchair users. Fed up with not being able to find trousers that were long enough in the leg or that looked like something we were never going to wear out, we knew it was good news when we met this manufacturer - one of the owners is a tetraplegic so knows the issues and has paid attention to detail when it came to answering his own clothing frustrations.
- Grade 5 coated metal zip - 2 sizes larger than normal - facilitates unaided use for people with restricted hand function
- An eyelet in the zip allows addition of a ring & further enables own use by tetraplegics
- A longer zip makes access to catheterize easier while seated
- Tougher & better designed fastener that does not easily break or tear the fabric when being assisted on transfers or given a pressure lift from the waistband
- Front belt loops closer to the fastener enable tetraplegics to fasten their own jeans, and maximise limited hand movement
- Strong nylon threads fasten belt loops to the jeans so they do not come off or tear when used as transfer aids
- Cut for wheelchair use: longer leg & longer at the back for a better look and greater comfort. A better fit stops trousers falling down when you transfer
- NO pockets, studs or poppers at the back minimises risk of skin and pressure issues
- Seams sown side to side at the back - not one on another - reduce risk of skin and pressure issues
- Mainstream fashion, wheelchair jeans
We know you'll like these trousers, because we do. And the good news is that this is just the beginning...
All legs are cut long (38") and properly finished. This length allows the trouser to sit naturally on the shoe while the wearer is sat in their wheelchair. Where it is too long, a local Alterations Service, such as at a dry cleaners, can cut and finish to the required length. We are negotiating a set rate for this service currently and will announce a result on our homepage.

Because of how these trousers are cut higher at the back for wheelchair use, we recommend that you measure your waist while seated in the wheelchair to get the correct size. It is likely that you will need a larger size than the standard trousers that you have bought previously.
If your size is not available, please email us to find out when we are getting new stock. We may be able to hold a pair for you when they come in.
