These hard wearing rubber lavatory seat cushions are ideal for paraplegics, tetraplegics, people with M.S. and others with pressure issues. They are designed to fit over a traditional toilet seat and provide the user with an effective pressure relief.

Manufactured in the UK, one of these may be kept permanently at home, or deflated and carried round discreetly and inflated by an ordinary bicycle pump for use on any toilet when visiting friends, travelling or out shopping.

Please also note, these do NOT fit Square Loo Seats.

Due to reasons of hygiene, we cannot accept returns on this product unless faulty.

Condition: Paraplegia

Many thanks, seat received this morning. When I researched the inflatable toilet seat with seemingly major companies, I was quoted anything up to £135 and none of them offered a VAT reduction AND none had them had one in stock AND none expected to have them in for several months! I will be in touch again and will forward your details to my friends.
Great service.

Condition: Traumatic Paraplegia T4

Ever get that deflated feeling? I did this morning. Luckily I had finished my M.E. and I always have a spare cushion in the cupboard. However, I wondered if I was going to be able to source a new cushion, I had trouble for the last one. After googling "inflatable toilet seat" to my horror, the first on the list wanted £254 for one of the green type. I nearly fell out my chair!!!! But then I came to DisabledGear.com....saved. I was so glad to see that these were still available and I duly ordered one and sent the VAT exempt form off.
I have been using these toilet seats for 34 years and even take one with me if I have to go to my spinal unit (Oswestry) as they no longer use them. They are ideal for pressure relief if you have to spend any length of time on the loo doing a M.E. So glad that someone with an experience of SCI has actually done something about these small, but vital items to ourselves and charging a reasonable price instead of charging an extortionate price just because it is supposed to be "specialist" equipment.

I am absolutely thrilled at finding this inflatable cushion as I have been looking for them for ages. I think they used to be called Franklin air cushions (I may be wrong though) and the ones I used to get from the NHS were a tan colour, then they changed the colour to green, and now they have changed to a different shape (now egg shaped) and are lilac. At first I thought that black was a strange colour to make a toilet cushion but actually I have quite a few things in my bathroom that have black in them so it doesn't look out of place. I don't fully inflate it as this would make me feel unstable but just inflating it about half way gives me enough padding for my bony bum and I feel quite stable with it. It is the shape and the size of the aperture of this cushion that for me are much better than the ones they have started supplying on the NHS. The last couple that I had from them were an egg shape not oval and the aperture was much smaller The smaller aperture in the egg shaped cushion made it more difficult to do M.E. and other family members found going to the loo more difficult. The bigger aperture in this black cushion allows more room fro M.E. and easy use for the rest of the family too.

Fantastic - have been searching for these to replace my old one from years ago. Had thought they stopped making them. Dependable & handy. And great service. Thanks very much. Will buy another.
