The Chelmer 160 has a safe working load of 160kg (25 stone).

Features large front castors for easy manoeuvrability.

The detachable Linak battery pack on the electric version has a LCD battery indicator and comes with a desktop charger.

Up and down motion is electric through the use of a remote control.

Leg Adjustment -The legs of the hoist open wide enough to go round most armchairs as well as wheel chairs. There is sufficient space between the mast and the person being lifted to avoid knees being knocked. The legs are adjustable using the leg adjuster handle located at the rear of the mast. They can be opened to enable access around armchairs, wheelchairs and similar obstacles.

A new plug may be needed (like a phone charger, which plugs into the battery) so the cost is £350 but this includes a new plug which costs £90 (you may be able to find cheaper or you may even be able to fix existing plug as wires are just disconnected), or you can pay £250 and buy/fix the plug yourself. SS gave us a new hoist rather than a new plug, crazy I know...hence selling this one.
