New Charity Spokz People Launched

Spokz People is a new charity providing psychological services for people with disabilities, their partners & healthcare professionals. They offer counselling, support groups, courses and workshops on confidence, assertiveness, relationships & body image. They also have a free online forum where you can ask questions about disability, relationships & sex. This week they launched a disability therapy directory, so you can find coaches, counsellors & sex therapists with disability experience in your area. Some services are available nationally & other currently available within Midlands.

Have fun with a Dan's Fund for Burns Fundraiser

All funds raised go towards supporting Burns Survivors in the United Kingdom - this small but extremely effective Charity was set up to make something good out of the Bali Bombings which killed over 200 people & injured hundreds more.  Among those killed was Dan Miller, Polly's husband of five weeks, together with the rest of their party of 10.  Polly herself suffered 43% body burns & therefore knows well the physical & psychological trauma of burns.  To learn more see www.dansfundforburns.org.

Hratch died unexpectedly on Friday, 16 July. This news comes with the assurance that he gave everyone the tools they need to continue to improve their lives. His immense presence will be missed by all those who crossed his path.
